NeoShrines are one-off creations crafted by Russell Leong Design based on old school specimen cases found in zoology departments of academic institutions of the 50's and 60's. They are similar in appearance but have been updated conceptually and structurally to include special event commemorations, awards, personal statements, non-religious shrines, and good luck devices. Each NeoShrine is created individually based on characteristics and preferences of their recipients. A key component of each piece is creative copy; meaningful words that accompany the visuals to make a clever and individualistic statement.
